Ian Hermanis, aka the Herminator, was the fifth member to join the GWT, and has been a crowd and player favourite ever since.

With his cheeky smile and unique tongue-sticking-out laugh, Ian has been a great man to play golf with over the journey. But its not all about the fun, he is also a steely competitor, a World Number One, and a three-time Major Champion.

He has the toughest scheduling challenge on Tour, with so many sponsor commitments that he finds he can only make about 2/3rds of the Majors on offer. And there’s not much time spent on the practice range either. Luckily he has the game to overcome that, and still win the big events.

His Game

Ian’s game is built on 250m+ power drives and great chipping and putting. When his driver is on, he is extremely hard to beat. He has winning records against most Gents in the MM, which shows he can put together a string of consecutive hot holes as needed.

Ambitions

Ian has said that he wants to reinstate the Aurora Curse, by sharing the next five titles with Felix. In fact he wants it to be five Felix v Ian Finals in a row, just to be sure of it.

He is also aiming at a second stint at World Number One, and capturing the Bougle and the Wanderererer to complete his Slam. Look out fellas, the Herminator is on the move!
